I would like to introduce the exhibition currently underway at the Seoul National University Museum of Art.

Located right next to the main gate of Seoul National University, a very sensuous exhibition is being held in a wonderful museum designed by world-renowned architect Rem Koolhaas.

Unlike the biasly instigated by the endless philosophy of reason, sense is not limited to feeling or emotion. Sense is attached much more closely to the soul than is the realm of reason. All the eyes do is to gather light. Scenes from a dream, vivid memories... all the things that we see are events taking place in the brain. A certain “seeing” is a genuine event that awakens our souls from deep sleep. Due to such characteristics, sense becomes the essence of art.

I think it would be good to feel the various painting styles of various artists and reflect on the meaning of ‘sense’ as I know it.

If you enjoy the exhibition along with the atmosphere of the wonderful museum building, the heat will go away quickly :)
